Colombo Construction Co., Inc., is the first commercial contractor recipient in the San Joaquin Valley to receive the SHARP Award by Cal/OSHA Division of Safety and Health. This award was presented in front of guests, local trade and employees on Guest speakers included Vince Fong, representing Congressman Kevin McCarthy; Zack Scrivner, representing Assembly member Jean Fuller; and Russell Johnson, representing Supervisor Mike Maggard and the Board of Supervisors.
According to Leonard Zasoski, General Superintendent/Director Of Safety “At Colombo Construction a safe work environment is paramount to our success. Without the safety of our employees and our contractors, Colombo Construction’s goals for profitability, productivity and quality would not be met.” Most importantly, having a IIPP in place promotes a cost savings and a safer environment for our workers, trades and customer.
